Our Acts of Kindness Committee visits those who are hospitalized at Centra State Medical Center on all holidays and brings them some cheer. 

We collect non-perishable food items for the local food pantries and deliver it to them after Yom Kippur and several times a month. 

Our Annual Clothing Drive is held once a year as part of our TBS Cares Day Program and the clothing is donated to various charities for people in need. 

Our Annual Ken Gross Temple Beth Shalom Blood Drive is held once a year as part of our TBS Cares Day Program. 

Once a year, we hold TBS Cares Day where we focus on various charities including but not limited to: Making Shalach Manot or Passover Baskets for those seniors in the area participating in the JFS Meals on Wheels Program, Going to local food shelters and serving the homeless lunch, Collecting and packaging books for the local school systems, collecting and packaging magazines for the local hospitals, making blankets for children in the hospital, Hair Braiding for Locks of Love, Phone Cards for the Troops, Collecting toys for hospitalized children, painting rocks to spread kindness, baking cookies for the needy, performing for seniors at local assisted living facilities and more.  Each year we pick various charities to  work for and bring happiness to those in need.
